Ellenbrook Central
Redeveloping an operational shopping centre in Perth’s north-eastern suburbs.
Ellenbrook Central is a single-level regional shopping centre located 30 kilometres north-east of Perth's CBD in a fast-growing corridor. The centre is anchored by Big W, Kmart, ALDI, Coles and Woolworths and includes more than 85 specialty stores.
Off the back of the successful completion of the Midland Gate project, Vicinity Centres engaged Bureau Veritas to plan, procure, design and deliver Stage 3 of the 13,000sqm redevelopment of the Ellenbrook Central Shopping Centre.
The project began onsite in August 2019 with an ambitious 11-month program. The challenging timeframe and the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic added restrictions on the project and delivery. Our team were able to focus on overcoming these challenges and stick to the original timeline with the redevelopment open to the public in July 2020.
Note: APP Corporation Pty Limited (The APP Group) was initially contracted for this project. The APP Group was acquired by Bureau Veritas in December 2024.
