Moving the Queensland Government to its new home in Brisbane.
After outgrowing its office space in Brisbane’s CBD, the Queensland Government agreed to become the anchor tenant for a new 42-storey tower being developed by Cbus. Completed in 2016, the tower was part of a plan to reinvigorate the city’s Administrative Precinct, and became Brisbane’s third highest and largest commercial building at 75,000m2 by nett lettable area (NLA).
The Queensland Government appointed Bureau Veritas as its Audit Project Manager, with responsibility for the delivery and auditing of the base building, plus overseeing the integrated fitout.
Note: APP Corporation Pty Limited (The APP Group) was initially contracted for this project. The APP Group was acquired by Bureau Veritas in December 2024.
