Managing the development of a luxury hotel in suburban Melbourne.
874 Whitehorse Road will be the first hotel in Melbourne’s Box Hill and branded as DoubleTree by Hilton. The 23-storey development will house a sky lobby, destination dining scene in the podium and a separate 3-level commercial tenancy. The tower will deliver a high quality, innovative and dynamic project for the Box Hill Activity Precinct.
Bureau Veritas was engaged by LongRiver Group to be Project Manager and Superintendent of this development. The project team worked closely with LongRiver and architect Buchan Group to defi ne the design and secured the appropriate Planning Permit.
Additionally, we represented the client in negotiations involving liaising with Hilton's Asia Pacific team, managing design approvals and handling food and beverage components.
Note: APP Corporation Pty Limited (The APP Group) was initially contracted for this project. The APP Group was acquired by Bureau Veritas in December 2024.
