Wesfarmers Office Fit-Out
Managing the move to a new head office for Wesfarmers in Perth .
In 2015, Wesfarmers signed a 10-year lease agreement to move its head office to Brookfield Place. The move would see Wesfarmers occupy 4,200 sqm at Brookfield Place Tower 2 on levels 12 and 13 once construction was complete.
Bureau Veritas was engaged by Wesfarmers to project manage the fit-out and relocation from its existing premises on The Esplanade to the new Brookfield Place Tower 2. Previously, the Wesfarmers business operated as twelve separate departments over five floors and two premises. The new head office space would allow the business to strengthen collaboration between business units and centralise shared services.
Bureau Veritas’ role included procurement, design, cost and time management as well as stakeholder consultation and coordination with Multiplex, the base building contractor.
Note: APP Corporation Pty Limited (The APP Group) was initially contracted for this project. The APP Group was acquired by Bureau Veritas in December 2024.
