Gosford RSL

Gosford RSL

Redeveloping a beloved RSL located on NSW’s Central Coast.

Operating since 1960, Gosford RSL was first formed following World War II to provide a place for returned servicemen and women to meet. With the proud heritage and history connected, the Club has since been a symbol of respect and honesty with over 25,000 members. The redevelopment project consisted of constructing a 6,500 sqm three-storey contemporary venue featuring a distinctive porte cochere entry, RSL museum and reception servicing the RSL and the adjoining motel on the ground floor.

Bureau Veritas was selected by Gosford RSL for our capability to operate across the full asset capital investment lifecycle. Our team assisted with the business case and feasibility process to determine the viability and scale of the new Club. With our advisory and direction during the rigorous process, we enabled the Club to proceed with a clearly defined project brief and strategy for the detailed design, approval, and construction phases.

Our project team supported the delivery of the new Club by providing expert Project Delivery services in collaboration with our project partners North Construction & Building and WMK Architecture. Construction of the new Gosford RSL venue was completed in 2024 and the existing club will be demolished to create a location for a 154-space car park.

Note: APP Corporation Pty Limited (The APP Group) was initially contracted for this project. The APP Group was acquired by Bureau Veritas in December 2024.
