Campus Living Villages – Griffith University Student Accommodation

Campus Living Villages has partnered with Griffith University to deliver a new Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) tower within its existing Griffith University Village on the Gold Coast campus. This project will deliver affordable, contemporary and appealing student accommodation that facilitates the implementation of its award-winning residential life program to nurture the wellbeing and social connections of its student residents. 

The project includes the design, development, and construction of a 11-storey tower which  delivers 460 beds across a mix of single studio and shared two-bedroom occupancy units. 

Bureau Veritas has been engaged by Campus Living Villages to provide Project Delivery, Superintendency and Independent Certification Services to manage the design and construction of the new PBSA tower. This project responds to the critical need for sustainable and affordable on-campus accommodation that caters to the needs and wants of Griffith University’s domestic and international students.  

Our team worked closely with Campus Living Villages and the consultant team to conclude the  design and project requirements in order to execute a contract with Built Qld Pty Ltd. 

The new tower will deliver a 5-star Green Star rating and WELL Gold certification and once complete, Griffith University Village will provide accommodation for close to 1,000 students on campus.

Note: APP Corporation Pty Limited (The APP Group) was initially contracted for this project. The APP Group was acquired by Bureau Veritas in December 2024.
