Fostering employee collaboration and pride with a Qantas campus-style headquarters.
After signing an extended lease at their Mascot site, the Qantas team wanted to refresh the office fit out and align it better with the brand.
As project managers, Bureau Veritas delivered a comprehensive office consolidation and redevelopment strategy to achieve a better overall solution for Qantas. Our team developed the brief and managed the business case, development, design and procurement for the project. This involved working closely with stakeholders to manage their expectations, construction superintendency and relocation management.
During the brief, the site was sold to Cromwell Property Group. Qantas and Bureau Veritas proposed a development opportunity to the new owner that would provide a modern campus office environment and achieve financial payback within six years.
Bureau Veritas delivered Qantas a modern campus environment for its headquarters across 47,000sqm. The consolidation helped to reduce the number of leased buildings from seven down to two. The office environment now allows for great collaboration and employees are proud of where they work.
