Developing new headquarters for Australia's first member-owned wellbeing company
Located on 271 Spring Street in Melbourne Victoria, the 16 level boutique office tower development hosts Australian Unity's headquarters. Developed by ISPT, John Wardle Architects produced a unique, high-quality design integrating the heritage elements of the Elms Hotel, and Bates Smart delivered a modern workplace interior, integrating the architectural intent whilst staying true to Australian Unity's workplace vision.
Bureau Veritas was engaged to provide development management, advisory and project delivery services to liaise with stakeholders, manage fitout consultants, and monitor base building and integrated fitout compliance.
271 Spring Street also won the Commercial Development of the Year at the 2019 The Urban Developer Awards.
Note: APP Corporation Pty Limited (The APP Group) was initially contracted for this project. The APP Group was acquired by Bureau Veritas in December 2024.
